Nitria, a unique new cross-bred indigenous variety "designed" to match Slovak terroir, comes from Karol Motyka's vineyard Kozara in Šenkvice. Frankovka modrá (Blaufränkisch) from the family winery of Margita & Ladislav Šebo epitomizes an ancient winemaking tradition in the Carpathian Basin. A limited edition representing the Slovak singularity within the context of a Centro-European wine identity, is a result of a team-work of vintners, winemakers and the oenologist Edita Ďurčová. A blend of Nitria 2013 and Frankovka modrá 2012 is a harmonious, elegant and delicate wine with restrained fruit and spicy flavors, tangy acidity and soft tannins. Uncleared, unfiltered. Serve at 14-16°C, ideal with beef tartar or mushroom risotto.
