Family vineyards of Margita and Ladislav Šebo are located in the heart of Small Carpathian Wine region. Devín, a unique new cross-breed indigenous variety „designed“ to match Slovak terroir, comes from their vineyard Suchý vrch (Dry Hill) in Šenkvice. Veltlínske zelené (Grüner Veltliner) from 35 years old vines of Noviny (News) vineyard in Modra epitomizes an ancient winemaking tradition in the Carpathian Basin and is the most planted Slovak grape variety. A limited edition representing Slovak singularity within the context of a Centro-European wine identity, is a result of a team-work of vintners, winemakers and an oenologist Edita Ďurčová. The blend of Devín 2013 and Veltlínske zelené 2013 sur lie is a typical cool climate wine: sappy, with floral and fruity aromas, spicy finish and tangy acidity.
